our story
When Dr. Kate became pregnant and started searching for a safe and effective swap to her current anti-aging routine, she had difficulty finding multi-tasking skincare with pregnancy safe ingredients that also offered anti-aging benefits. So, she decided to create her own with the help of a board-certified OB/GYN and reproductive health toxicologist.
With that, Lady Polpo was born. Named after the world’s best mother, the octopus (or polpo in Italian) guards her eggs for 4 years- as long as it took Dr. Kate to create the Sister Serum and the longest egg-brooding period of any animal. To us, the Lady Polpo woman is synonymous with our octopus: a fiercely protective mama with her hands full.
We prioritize sustainability, philanthropy, and ethical practices as much as we do efficacy in skincare. Our innovative skincare is designed to provide peace of mind - from the sustainable, zero-plastic packaging to the use of only pregnancy safe ingredients approved by both an OB/GYN and reproductive health toxicologist.
We are committed to the future - the future of your skin, the future of your child, and the future of our global community. Lady Polpo is dedicated to working with soon-to-be mothers in the rural regions of Haiti. $1 from each bottle sold is given to Medicine for Peace, a non-profit organization that promotes and facilitates free, safe deliveries in hospitals, as well as optimal prenatal and postpartum maternal baby care.
We are here to simplify your skincare routine without sacrificing results, ease stress wherever we can, and empower through education. Enjoy a moment of luxurious peace during your Lady Polpo routine: multi-tasking, effective skincare solutions for busy mamas.
Future-forward skincare for all women, all over the world, at all stages of life. Together, let’s Think Generationally.
